There’s always something going on at the Continental, whether you want to see some jazz, some studio theatre, or taste some of our fine beers and wines.

Our Continental Arts Space is an arts and events space, a 180 standing, up to 90 seated multifunctional self-contained building attached to The Continental. They Eat Culture is the arts organisation that programmes and develops arts projects in the space. Have a look at the They Eat Culture page for more information about the organisation, its artistic policy, and its work. If you’re a producer, an artist, or promoter who wants to come and put an event on here with us, look in They Eat Culture for the relevant contacts and producer’s guidelines.
We’ve got a program that includes music, studio theatre, family performance, live literature, entertaining lectures, comedy, workshops & classes including creative writing, beer tasting, & yoga – and what ever else we can find. Have a look on the pages to find out about upcoming events. Come and join in the buzz about arts on the Riverside in Preston.
