Expect appearances from Harold Salisbury (sax), Neil Carr (sax) John Bailey (guitar), Crispin Mockler (guitar), Tom Wilson (keys), Norman Helm (bass) and Chris Jopson (drums) along with many more of the performers from last month.

This legendary German guitarist and composer is famous for his solo instrumental music on 6-string and 12-string guitars. Starting out in the late 70s with folk combo Wacholder, Steffen subsequently discovered the music of steel string raga pioneer Robbie Basho, which changed his musical outlook forever and saw Steffen appropriate Basho’s surname his name as a mark of lasting respect and affection. Steffen is an absolute master of the 12 string and open tuning acoustic formats.

With a pedigree that stretches back to the early 60s, this six-piece Preston outfit has built a solid reputation on the local scene since their formation as a band in 2002. Describing their music as an eclectic blend of blues, rock, folk and funk, the band cites influences from Bob Dylan and The Band to Little Feat, Pink Floyd, Leon Russell, Buffalo Springfield and everything in between. With six vocalists in the band, you’re guaranteed an eclectic evening of great music. See you at the front.
