This legendary German guitarist and composer is famous for his solo instrumental music on 6-string and 12-string guitars. Starting out in the late 70s with folk combo Wacholder, Steffen subsequently discovered the music of steel string raga pioneer Robbie Basho, which changed his musical outlook forever and saw Steffen appropriate Basho’s surname his name as a mark of lasting respect and affection. Steffen is an absolute master of the 12 string and open tuning acoustic formats.

With a pedigree that stretches back to the early 60s, this six-piece Preston outfit has built a solid reputation on the local scene since their formation as a band in 2002.
